How to Stop Time, by Matt Haig

This book is about a man whose lifespan is vastly longer than your average human’s. About 1000 years longer, give or take.

He’s trying to live an ordinary life and stay away from the creepy underground network of other people like him. It’s an easy read so perfect if you’re lacking time or energy but still want to read something really, really good. The writing is accessible but gorgeous, I loved the narrator’s voice and the story is both dramatic and romantic without being overwraught. Also, points for the character meeting Shakespeare in a way that’s doesn’t even feel contrived 👌🏻

Everyone I have recommended this book to has loved it, and I can’t say much more without spoilers, so I’ll have to leave it there!
